Year 4 Trip to Lullingstone Roman Villa
As part of our Roman topic, we would like to take Year 4 to Lullingstone Roman Villa on Monday 4th March 2019. The children will be able to experience history first hand and gain an insight into the lives of the Romans that lived there, which brings the curriculum to life in a fun and engaging way.
In order for this trip to go ahead, we ask for a payment of £12 per child. This is for the transport by coach, the entrance to Lullingstone Roman Villa and for the Workshop. We will be leaving at 9.30am and returning during the school day and when the children return from their trip they will go back to their classroom (no children will be released from the coach) and leave school as normal at 3.15pm. You should give permission/pay for this trip and indicate that you are able to help via Agora by Tuesday 29th January 2019, unless there are sufficient parental contributions received this visit will be cancelled. All accompanying adults must hold a current Enhanced CRB/DBS certificate via Dulverton School. Please note: If you are a voluntary helper on this trip you will be required to sign a written agreement that you will not use your phone unless in an emergency and will not take photographs to be put onto any social media.
Children will be required to wear school uniform, appropriate footwear and a coat. Your child will require a packed lunch and two drinks clearly labelled in a suitable bag. Your child’s packed lunch MUST NOT CONTAIN NUTS OR ANY NUT-BASED PRODUCTS including such things as PEANUT BUTTER or CHOCOLATE SPREAD and no cans or glass containers. If your child is registered as having a school meal at the time of the outing or is entitled to free school meals, you can order a packed lunch from the school kitchen by indicating this on the slip by Tuesday 29th January 2019.
