Dulverton Primary

Coronavirus Update: Updated 20/03/20

As you will be aware it was announced by the Government on Wednesday 18th March 2020 that schools, colleges and early years settings will be closed to everyone except children of key workers and vulnerable children from Monday, as part of the country’s ongoing response to coronavirus.

Examples of these workers include NHS staff, police and delivery drivers who need to be able to go to work. Vulnerable children include those who have a social worker and those with Education, Health and Care Plans. The current definition for keyworkers also includes families where one parent within the family home is a key worker are eligible to send their children to school. Also that children will not access teaching of the National Curriculum during these times.

Please find the link below for parents and carers DFE guidance regarding the current key worker guidelines and advice for parents and carers.

Children who do not fall into these groups should remain at home with appropriate care.

Thank you for all your continued support and understanding in these matters.
